But sometimes, you have to stop and remind yourself that different people see things in different ways, so you need to be careful of the version of events you choose to believe. For example, our fearless and glorious leader Gaaean sent me this picture:
Look at that rugged brow. That look of fierce determination. Our victorious hero Tolas standing serenely and powerfully over the slain beast. He has his epic in his hand, bringing new life to the fallen. Truly this is a calm and majestic scene. All have fought bravely, and Underguild has won the day.
Then check out what an anonymous tipster sent me:
Hey, that looks slightly different. Could it be the reason that Tolas was standing over the vanquished foe is because Gaeaan got his ass kicked? Might that look of calm determination actually be Tolas stifling a mocking taunt to our tank/hamburger Bardaorm? We may never know, but always keep in mind when you only see one story, you may only be seeing half the picture.
Oh, and we also killed this thing:
I can't think of anything funny to say about it, other than it kinda reminds me of my inlaws for some reason.
The fine reputation of our intrepid reporter has been impugned, so I have been forced to provide this update, featuring never before seen enhanced photographs of the events.
Compressed photos were used before for size considerations, and I regret any one who doubted my integrity due to them.
The corpse is indead that of our fearless leader, and Pickle is always right. Love the Pickle.Posted by at December 28, 2006 08:56 AM
