Well, we've finally started raiding Time...
We actually started raiding Time about 1 week before the server merger. We wanted to go in and actually learn the encounters without being fed strats, and besides looking up ae's, we've stuck to it as best as we can. It's taking us a little longer to actually get through Time this way, but it's making the zone a LOT more fun. Lord knows you need some fun after doing Phase 1 over and over and over again...
Since we've started, we've managed to get to Phase 4 fairly easily. Sure, we didn't get there on the first few runs through, but eventually we figured out the little things in Phases 1 through 3 needed to win.
On our first run in Phase 4, we managed to get whooped up on by Terris on our first attempt. But we rallied back and knocked her down easily the second time. Saryrn was a pushover. She went down on our first attempt. Hot chick gods are the big win!
We then tried Tallon. He wasn't nearly as easy. After 4 or 5 failed attempts with raids of approximately 60-65 members, we were getting a little frustrated. So on our last run through Time, when everyone was ready to call it a night, 45 of us stayed behind to try to work out our strat a little more. But instead of working on the strat, we ended up killing him /boggle. So TZ's now being added to the farm list, and Vallon's next up for the strat figuring out stage. Hopefully we'll get him down soon so we can move on to the next tier of gods. Most of us will simply be happy when Time is finally fully instanced so we can actually raid it on our regular raid nights when we have members on. But until then, it's gonna be up to Team RaidLite to figure things out. But the loot farming helps ease the pain a lot!
Once we were finished with our first run in the Time rotation, we decided it was time to get to work on our GoD progression. So the officers got the the single group trial/task stuff out of the way for our first Ikky raid on Wednesday.
So 53 members ran to KodTaz for Ikky 1 (we can't even fill a GoD raid box WTF?). Having a good idea of what we were to expect, we started moving through the trial. There's not really a whole lot to say with the exception of "OMFG!!! GoD encounters are FUN!!!" I think the best part is the pit. The random attacking golems are just funny as hell. One minute yer doin yer thing, the next minute yer getting plowed down by 6 mobs. Weaponshield worked good too, didn't it Jasfer? HAHAHA...funny stuff...guess you just had to have been there for that.
Anyway, Ikky 1 went down for us on our first attempt, and hopefully we'll get that lucky with Ikky 2 tonight.
I'd like to thank the players from Conv and DN that were nice enough to answer my extremely n00b questions about GoD progression. It saved us a lotta time, work, and headaches.
We also managed to finish off 2 more 1.5s in our spare time. Grats Cenydd and Filtir.
