All the hard work and months of backflagging have finally paid off. We've officially started raiding in the elemental planes.
We started off the week with the plans of having just a few more flagging raids before we started on our elemental raids. One of those targets happened to be Agnarr. The fight went off without a hitch (or so I'm told), and a lot more members were able to get this flag out of the way. And 2 lucky people walked away with some upgrades.
Later that week we concentrated on Sol Ro trials in an effort to kill Sol Ro again. After getting a lot more members flagged for Sol Ro chamber, we went in and killed Sol Ro for our second time (Sol Ro:0 UG:2). The Sol Ro and trial raids netted us more loot and helped get the majority of our members Fire flagged. YAY!!!
Friday rolls around. In the past, Friday-Sunday have always been slow days for us due to low numbers online. But I guess the constant raiding has started getting more interest drummed up for weekend raiding. So we check our numbers online, and decide to take our first attempt at an elemental raid. So we head into Fire.
The first mobs we kill were the phoenixes. They were fun fights, but not really "challenging". So we decide to kill the frog. He also proved to be kinda simple. So we decide to take out General Durav. We figured with our numbers, he'll prolly end up being the toughest mob we can handle for the night. Again, another Fire mob drops easy.
Fine, General Reparm's up. He's supposed to be a true butt stomper. We decide to go ahead and give him a try. After all, the worst that could happen would be a CR at the graveyard. He drops on our first attempt. Yay us. What else was left for us? Arch Mage...
We go after AMY with the same "It's our first time in here, what have we got to lose attitude". After some trouble with the pull we get AMY to camp and kill him on our first attempt also.
So, the score for the night ended up being PoFire:0 UG:6. Not really that bad considering we had so many people telling us that AMY and Reparm would eat us alive. And for our work, we were rewarded nicely!!! Our first elemental molds/patterns!!!
Saturday, the server crashed. This put us up in line for Vex Thal. It was our best clear yet in terms of speed/deaths. The clearing really is a pain, but the loot makes it all worth it. Another VT clear and not a single item rotted.
Sunday...expecting a day off from raiding (since that's always been the norm for us on the day following a VT run), we ended up with a lot more ppl online. So we decide to take another stab at the eles. This time we head to water for Hydrotha and KTM. After the monks learned the pulls, we finally had our first Water mobs in camp beggin to be killed. So we obliged em. Two more first attempt kills that earned us even more upgrades.
After the Water and Fire raids, I think it's safe to say that we've found our new playground for a while.

It's been over a month since I've had a chance to post an update. I've been busy and the guild's been busy. I'll get ya up to speed, but it's gonna be skimpy on details!
After the last update a lot of our members headed cross country for our first UG picnic (read: keg party) in Austin, MN...home of SPAM! Suffice it to say, everyone there had a great time actually meeting long time in-game friends. Rypem gave everyone the flu, which really rawked. Druzil was molested a lot while the duo of Big Head Puppy and Some Guy became the official guild mascots. I think I can speak for a lot of the ppl that were there when I say that our members taste funny /lick... We've got pics somewhere, I may add em later if I can dig em up.
For about 2 weeks time while the picnic was happening, the guild was pretty inactive. But once the vactation was over we got right back to work on flagging.

As far as guild progression, we're keeping our noses to the grindstone and trying to finish up flags. All we need to do is bust out a few more Sol Ro trials to have enough flagged that we don't have to depend on a specific 32 players to log in in order to gimp up to his chamber again. Once we have those down, we'll prolly knock Sol Ro out at least 2 more times, then we'll begin with our elemental raiding.
That's about it. Oh yeah, except for 1 thing....yay I got an image editing program again, so next update will be back to less talk and more pics.
