It's a short update, but I just had to post it somewhere...
Last night, we went into Sol Ro looking for trial mobs. Only one was up, but Sol Ro was up. So we do a head count and see that we have a decent number of ppl on, so wth? We zone up into Sol Ro's chamber, clear a few trash mobs. Then we set up for our very first ever Sol Ro fight.
A few minutes after our pull, we had Sol Ro lying dead at our feet on our very first attempt at this encounter.
We're now in all 4 planes of the eles, and once we have a few more players flagged, we're going to start working the ele mobs over.
No loot links, no pictures, just bragging.
There won't be any new updates from me for at least 2 weeks. So unless Nagi or Cynan come in here out of boredom and post something, I wouldn't expect anything new.

Well, lots of stuff has happened lately with the guild, and it has all been for the better.
We had our normal raids (mainly backflags!). We did manage to sneak in another Emp kill. We had a retro night. This involved mainly running through NToV for easy fast upgrades. But the real reasoning was because we wanted to give the Vulak ring a shot. So after clearing out all the dragons, we settled in for our first attempt ever at RoV. OMG, talk about a time consuming event. This thing took 3 hours to beat, not to mention the time spent clearing the zone. But, despite the timesink, we managed to stay awake long enough to finish the ring on our first try. There was actually a few really nice items on his loot table. Yay for guild firsts.
We also had our normal VT run. That went pretty good. AHR fed us more loot. We went back later for a fast raid for the non-rotationals.
We continued working on our backflagging mobs as promised to help catch up our members that were missing flags. During this time, the officers initiated a new backflagging procedure for the guild. We now currently only work on backflagging mobs on the 1st through the 7th of each month. This gives us plenty of time to work on progression and farming real loot again.
After we finished up our first official Backflagging Week, we decided it was time to go in and try to bust into elementals. On the first night after BF Week, we decided to try the tougher of the 2 mobs we had left, and headed to Tactics for our first ever Rallos raid.
We went through the script pretty much flawlessly and were ready to kill RZTWL. Everyone got in their places, and we pulled the big baddie. We beat him down to 5% (someone said 3%, but 5% is fine) before we wiped on our first ever attempt.
So we gather up our corpses, and decide to go right back at it since we had the numbers online to make a good attempt. Again, we go through the script. We jumped in the pit and made sure to make the adjustments from the first attempt. A few minutes later and RZ was dead at our feet. Wheeee... yay us!
The next night, we decided to stick with the game plan and work on elemental progression and head to BoT for our old nemesis Agnarr. This was a fun fight. Everytime things looked bad, we managed to somehow pull out of the slump. Some serious kiting from Rakle gave us the edge we needed, and soon we had Agnarr laying dead at our feet. Wheeee... yay us!
So to sum it up, we did a lot of backflagging, and now we're in the eles!!! Well...except for fire, but that won't be long at all.
Not bad for a guild that was told we'd be stuck farming ToV and never amount to anything when we first started 6 months ago...
I wanna say thanks to all of our members that have worked extra hard lately making sure we would get our guildies caught up on flags. It's that drive and dedication to their fellow members that makes me proud to know that they're on my side.
