Holiday time is here, and as we expected its slowed us down a little bit.
Now don't get me wrong. Contrary to popular belief, we're not folding. We just have members that use the holidays to spend time with their families, not to mention all of our members that are having finals at this time.
So while our numbers may be down during the holiday season, we're still trying to remain as busy as we can.
We did our usual runs in eles when we had the numbers on. We cleared Fire a few times and we hit our normal 3 Water mobs a few times. So even while our numbers seem low, we're still gearing up and working on progression.
UG: 1 Smith Rondo: 0
We did sneak in some guild firsts since the last update. We found a few mobs in OoW that we can farm for runes when our numbers aren't up to par. We also started working on our GoD progression. I figured that if GoD was designed for lower numbers, then we might as well see how that pans out for us while our numbers are down.
Needless to say, GoD is a hoot. We ran our first ever Smith Rondo raid. Let me tell you, that is one fun raid. It's pure chaos the first time you do it. There were a few times where it looked like we were going to wipe, but an excellent job from our enchanters/bards helped keep the chaos to a minimum. That resulted in the big W for us. So our first ever Smith Rondo attempt was a success. No wipes. A few deaths. Every member of the raid flagged. New shinies. It was a good night. We also had 50+ ppl log in for that raid which helped bolster the spirits of some of the doomsayers in the guild.
For the last week, we've started pushing our members through Vxed and Tipt. Flagging everyone will be a pain, but we know it has to be done. We've already got a few members fully Kod'Taz flagged, and hopefully by the end of next week we'll have at least 3-4 groups fully KT flagged. It's slow, but it keeps us busy while our numbers are low!
