So what if it's only been 2 weeks since the last update, we've got a lot to brag about.
We accomplished quite a bit in the past 2 weeks. We were in our normal farm mode, trying to gear up our tanks for Xegony when out of nowhere SOE slapped in a Fabled Mobs patch. The first thing we find out about is the Fabled Overking in Chardok, so we decided to give him a try.

After everyone had finished patching, we rallied up the troops and stormed down in Chardok. The OK didn't prove to be "too" difficult a challenge, but he wasn't exactly a pushover for an elemental guild. Once we realized we could kill him, we decided to set up shop to get those bps for our tanks.
Every 2 hours, another tank got an awesome bp. I'm pretty confident that the first 3 fabled incardine breastplates on Quellious were all gained by UG. It was pretty sweet. But then, the evil SOE decided to that anniversary events shouldn't be so generous to their playerbase and they nerfed the spawn rate and increased the difficulty of the encounter. /stab
But the raid itself was fun as long as you didn't mind wasting 2 hours here and there while waiting on the spawn. I've been trying to figure out my favorite part about the OK raids. I'm torn between 2 things:
1) The occasional lvl 60 tank that would zone in and ask to be put on the "list" for the bp /boggle
or
2) A certain "uber" guild that is quick to holler "We were at the mob before you!!!" (they even had a GM come to a 1.5 chanter epic raid to force a roll on the mob because we had ppl in the zone...I guess we scare ppl RAWR!!!) was sending tells to our members "We're coming in, and if ya'll don't leave OK it's going to get messy" threats. Fuckin losers. Can't even play by their own "We beat you here!!!" rules when they get beat by a "small" "not-harcore" "casual raiding" guild without resorting to threats. Internet bullies make me laugh.

After the Overking "fix" (read: nerf) we went back to our normal farming mode for the rest of the week in preparation of our upcoming Xegony attempts.
Fairies With Boobs...errr...Wear Boots
So Monday, we cleared up to Xegony's island to camp for our Xegony attempts. Nothing too exciting, just a waste of 2 hours. Once everyone was up, we camped out for the night, vowing to leave our toons up top until Xegony was dead.
Tuesday, we logged back in and made a few solid attempts at knocking out the Queen of Air. The first attempt was great, and even though we didn't win it gave us a lot of confidence about the encounter itself. We tried one more time, but had guardians add on the pull. After CR, it was late (cuz our prep time took ages OMFG!!!) so we called it a night and came back Wed for a few more attempts.
Wednesday's first attempt went well up until about the 3rd wave of adds. Needless to say we almost wiped. The chanters blurred Xeg and we rezzed up our ppl to try again real fast. The second attempt was even uglier than the first, but it wasn't due to any mistakes of our own. When the monks pulled Xeg, instead of agroing the monks and following them to the MT camp, she ran to the add camp. Yay for buggy blurring!
So we rezzed up one more time and decided we were gonna give it one more shot before calling it a night. The monks got Xeg to the MT with no adds, and the raid was under way. The add team and pullers did an exceptional job of making sure all mobs got to the add camp and that's all we needed. 30 min later, Xegony was dead and we were having a shield wearing orgy on Xegony's island.
Now we're just down to 2 more god kills for Time.

We've been extremely busy for the past month, so here's a small update to get ya up to speed on what's been going on.
First and foremost: Farming. We've been farming like there's no tomorrow. We're back in our groove and the gear just keeps piling up.
We ran our usual routine of Fire and Water farming as much as possible. We're in the process of trying to make sure all of our tanks are well equipped for OT'ing the Xegony encounter. Being a "small" guild, we gotta rely on gear instead of heavy numbers to win "god" encounters, and that means we're gonna stick to our plan of making sure everyone in the guild is geared equally.
We kinda got bent over on our raiding last week with the rampant zone crashes and bugs that all the servers were getting. But instead of letting it get us down, we simply diverted our attentions to other ways to better the guild as a whole. We did this by working hard on our KodTaz flags, and by finishing up some more 1.5 epics.
We've been flagging for Kod'Taz like mad. We almost have the entire guild flagged for KT, with the exception of about 10 members and a couple of recruits. Hopefully we'll have those flags knocked out in the next day or 2, then we can start working on the Ikky trials when we're not farming eles. YAY!!! More flagging!!! /stab Luckily for us though, GoD has a 54 man raid limit.
We managed to finish 4 1.5s (Egdoid, Gaeaan, Zastrow, Zoltaan), and we managed to get a few more members up to their final raid encounter. Hopefully next weekend we'll be able to finish those quests off and have some more players move up in the 1.5 queue.
That's about it. Like I said, we've been extremely busy doing our own thing at our own pace in our own quiet way. Our members are happy and focused, and that's all that really matters in the end.
