What to say?

Not really a whole lot to say. Was a weird week for us, especially the weekend. While we usually field more than enough to raid on any given day, we were barely able to get enough online this weekend to make up a couple of xp groups. Either the raids all week wore em down and they needed a break, or there was a lotta misscheduled SuperBowl parties.

Raids...we hit a few of our regulars as usual. Then we had a "retro" night where we ran through NToV with hopes of clearing it all for Vulak. But, ToV wasn't fully spawned, and the next day was a patch so that really put a halt in those plans.

We attempted Shei for our first time. We got her down to 25% before the adds just became to much hassle. We've figured out what we need to do to win this encounter and add her to the farm list.

Our first batch of recruits are on their final days of the recruiting stage, and hopefully we'll have a few new members running around with the UG tag.

All Work and No Play

It was a semi "slow" week for us last week. We still hit most of our regular mobs as much as we could, however we concentrated our efforts to finish up keying and baning for Emp. Hopefully this week we'll take a couple of practice runs on the fake Blood in order to figure out where our positioning needs to be for the actual Emp encounter.

We added some more recruits to the list and added a few more of our long time friends to the guild. Our numbers continue to grow, which is always good.

Our loot system has been in place for a while now, and while it still has a few bugs that we may need to work out on down the road, everyone seems to be pleased with how they're working.

There's really not a whole lot more to say except that one important lesson was learned...those shoulders are a back slot ARRGH!!!!

Take care fuggeroos,

Gaeaan

Busy Weekend

We had a busy weekend of raids. Lots of raids. Lots of mobs. Lots of loot. We also started getting back to work on finishing up our emp keys and bane weapons. So hopefully that'll be out of the way soon and we can take a stab at the big snake boss guy.

Oh yeah...one more thing...

Recruiting is open!!! Make sure to keep in touch with yer sponsors or the guild officers to find out if anything is happening so we can get you involved with the guild.

That's about it so peace out and all that cool slang crap

OMG!!! LAG!!1!!!11!1

So we spent our day in Ssra farming green metal since we were expecting certain mobs up. We finally get enough healers on, so we start making our way to our first target, AL. We get there and start killing him, and IH starts zoning in for an Emp raid. No biggie, we've always managed to work with/around IH when it comes to raids, and we're used to a little bit of lag when IH or MC has an Emp raid. AL dies, yay us.

Then we notice that Rhoz is up. So we haul ass down to the basement to start working on the triggers. A group had just left, so we knew we had a short wait ahead of us waiting on the repops before we could trigger the cycle. Boy were we ever wrong.

With 115+ ppl in the zone, the lag became unbearable. It got to the point to where mobs weren't respawning. Our triggers which were 2 hour spawns, hadn't spawned in the 2.5 hours we sat there waiting on em. IH killed Blood, and Emp wouldn't become targetable.

Finally after waiting around, we sent the majority of our raid outside to The Grey to cut down the lag. This worked. IH was able to beat Emp, and once they left the zone our mobs started spawning....after waiting 3+ fuggin hours!!!

But we whacked Cursed, and Nagi broke free from his int caster loot curse, so all was good.

After Cursed, we ran down to kill our favorite new farm mob (GotS) again, and then called it a night.

Here's the loot that didn't rot!

So all in all, another busy night of upgrading the guild!

That's about it for this time. We'll have more to show this weekend.

Til then, taker easy fuggeroos

Monday Night Fights

More and more ppl are logging in now that the holidays are over, so the mobs are falling fast for us. With no way to actually post a rally on the boards since Cynan broke the site for the day, we had to just sit by and hope for ppl to log in. That strategy worked!

First up on the list was Paffa. It was our first attempt at him, and he was extremely gimped. Our strat: Sacrifice Dynkara enough times to ensure the gods are pleased enough to allow us to win.

After leaving CoD, we headed back to Ssra to see an old friend. After last week's 22 person kill, this 30 person raid seemed like a total zerg fest. We won, but it's only due to the fact that we sacrificed Dynk a few more times to appease the gods.

With another AL notch in the belt, we all took a flying leap of faith in Paineel to kill one of our newest "favorite" mobs. A few min later, we all gated out after violating GotS's corpse for lewtz.

Recruiting Update

We've got our new loot rules in place, and we're giving it a basic test drive for a few raids. After that's finished, we'll officially open up recruiting. I'm gonna go ahead and say recruiting will be opened Friday 1/9/04. That'll give us a brand new weekend to start running ya'll through the hoops!

Our Personal Best

Well the holidays are finally over, and we're slowly starting to see our members log back in. What does this mean? More raids!!! YAY!!! During the days between Christmas and New Years we did our obligatory XTC and Tower raids. Yes, I can honestly say that we do raid XTC and Towers too much. But what can ya do?

The day after New Years was a totally different story. We managed to get over 20 members online, so we decided to try our hand at AL. With 22 raiders, a pally MT, and a shaman heal rotation, we went in and killed AL. This was the lowest number of players we've ever attempted AL with, and the first time we've attempted him with a Pally MT and a shaman heal rotation. But hey, whatever works!!! This was our personal best and really started getting our members believing that we will be able to continue on in the same content we were all accustomed to.

After AL, we decided to take a trip to the Hole to see what all the hubbub was over that Guardian guy. The hubbub was he died easily on our first ever attempt on him, and his loot table isn't half bad. So he's gonna be marked on the farm chart for a while.

I'm thinking about just making my updates a weekly thing instead of per raid. It saves me a lotta time, giving me extra time to keep trying to find someone to cyber.

Recruiting Update

Our programming type ppl in the guild said that they will more than likely have a generic version of the loot tool ready to implement early next week. As soon as that's up and running we'll open up the recruiting process. Thanks for waiting and being patient.

Til next update...

Now for the money shots (Yes, there's quite a few items, but it's pretty much a week's worth of raids since I've been slacking on the updates.)
